​Hi, I’m Dave. I’m an integrative counsellor and a registered member of the BACP. I offer a warm, relaxed and confidential space where you can talk openly about what’s going on for you. Whether you’re feeling stuck, anxious, low or just not yourself, we can explore it together at a pace that feels comfortable.
 

Being an integrative counsellor means that I employ a variety of therapeutic approaches tailored to meet your individual needs.  My integrative approach is mainly person-centred.  This means that you are the expert in your life and I am here to listen, support and help you to understand your own thoughts and feelings more clearly.  For clients dealing with anxiety,  I sometimes bring in elements of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) to offer practical tools alongside gentle exploration.

The Space

Sessions take place in a quiet, comfortable cabin, set up to help you feel at ease from the moment you arrive. The space is calm, private and free from interruptions, giving you the chance to talk openly and focus fully on yourself.

Many people tell me they appreciate the relaxed, homely feel, it’s welcoming without being clinical, and designed to help you settle in and take your time. If you prefer, I also offer remote sessions.
